We are looking for an experienced baker to join the team at our award-winning bakery in North London. The ideal candidate is a sourdough specialist with an artisan background including Viennoiserie and other enriched doughs—a creative thinker with great ideas and the ability to help their team to make them a reality. We are looking for someone who is passionate about seasonality and provenance of sourced ingredients and is passionate about introducing UK and heritage grains to our award winning product range.
Responsibilities
- Manage bakery team and ensure engagement
- Ensure product standards maintained
- New product development
- Manage inventory and ordering
- Maintain clean and organised work environment
- Organised, pragmatic and open to change
Requirements
- 3 years baker experience
- Thorough knowledge of high hydration sourdough and understands the basics of sourdough baking
- Knowledge of how to make and laminate viennoiserie
- Designed and costed your own products
- Rota compilation
- Food Hygiene Level 2 minimum
