-Assistant Head Baker-
Our baking team makes all our sourdough for our cafe, wholesale customers and take away bakery plus, enriched dough products and viennoiserie. We focus on producing delicious products that our customers will love, whilst also pushing our team and bakers to develop their own skills. We believe in trying everything once, we have an excellent team culture, believe in one another and believe this is why our products are consistently excellent. We are looking for someone to join our awesome bake team and to help lead it from the front along with our head baker.
The successful candidate is someone who has experience within their previous roles working with sourdough, enriched doughs and viennoiserie and is looking to take the next step in their career. Perhaps you’ve reached your full potential within your current role and are looking to step up and take on some more responsibility, develop your managerial skills whilst also stretching your baking abilities.The role of assistant head baker will support both the wider team and the Head Baker to produce consistently high quality products. It will be your responsibility to lead the team from the front, with the head baker, offering support, experience and expertise where needed whilst also pushing the team to reach their collective and individual potential.

Key Skills
- Two years baker experience
- Made high hydration sourdough and understands the basics of sourdough baking
- Knowledge of how to make and laminate viennoiserie
- Designed and costed your own products
- Rota compilation
- Food Hygiene Level 2 minimum
