-Head Baker- 

We are looking for an experienced baker to join the team at our award-winning bakery in North London. The ideal candidate is a sourdough specialist with an artisan background including Viennoiserie and other enriched doughs—a creative thinker with great ideas and the ability to help their team to make them a reality. We are looking for someone who is passionate about seasonality and provenance of sourced ingredients and is passionate about introducing UK and heritage grains to our award winning product range.

Responsibilities

  • Manage bakery team and ensure engagement
  • Ensure product standards maintained
  • New product development 
  • Manage inventory and ordering 
  • Maintain clean and organised work environment
  • Organised, pragmatic and open to change

Requirements

  • 3 years baker experience
  • Thorough knowledge of high hydration sourdough and understands the basics of sourdough baking
  • Knowledge of how to make and laminate viennoiserie 
  • Designed and costed your own products
  • Rota compilation 
  • Food Hygiene Level 2 minimum

Salary range £32000 to £40000 depending on experience
